My affinity for the natural world developed at an early age. Starting as a three year old with a magnifying glass and a collection of insects, I eventually went on to study in Pennsylvania, Alaska and Florida, where I earned a degree in Marine Biology.

In balance with my scientific understanding I try to portray the beauty of the earth's vanishing wild places. My lens allows me to capture the intersection of land and sea, mountain and sky, freezing these fleeting moments into permance.

I want my work to seem less like photographs on the wall than windows on a world rich in mystery and primordial spirituality. Before there was man there were the holy places of this earth; it's our obligation to save them.
